Aldo Velásquez & Alma Dujso

Alma Dujso is a young, talented and promising Argentine tango dancer. Originally from Bosnia, she has been living in Denmark for about 14 years, after her family fled the country during the Bosnian war. Alma has been dancing for a few years only, but she has already become one of the best tango dancers in Copenhagen and Denmark.

Aldo Velásquez s a teacher and dancer living in Denmark known for his smooth, connected & dynamic dancing, he has taught and performed in the International Copenhagen Tango Festival since its inception, as well as the Tango del Norte festival amongst others.

Aldo about himself:

Argentine Tango Dancer/Teacher through 12 years and now also recently started to sing tango. Originally from Puerto Montt, South Chile and grew up in Tromsø in the North of Norway.

Live now in Copenhagen and work fulltime as a dancer and teacher of tango. Have an own school and arrange and participate in different dance projects, as inviting tango dancers from abroad to do workshops, tango musicians for concerts in connection with workshops or festivals, travel around Scandinavia as a teacher to do workshops and perform, and lately also participated in projects with the respected choreographer Eske Holm in Copenhagen to dance and choreograph modern dance fusioned with tango and flamenco both on stage and movie together with an ensemble of very professional dancers based here in Copenhagen.

Am cooperating with the ice-skating coach David Blazek of the top danish couple to improve their tango and general dance expression on ice for their competitions through this year and next.

Have a son of 6, he's a handsome, energetic, intelligent, talented little angel. Love him with all my heart and he's one of my biggest inspirations, motivations and source of power through my life.
